Empowering writers to do what they love.

The Kalamazoo Writing Circle (KWC) is a local writing group committed to improving the creative writing skills of local writers and promote writing in the Kalamazoo community.
Founded in the spring of 2023, our members are local memoirists, poets, playwrights, fiction writers, and everything in between. While writing can feel like solitary , we believe that community is one of the most powerful tools a writer can have.
Hone your skills through weekly writing workshops for novels, plays, poems, short stories, and more
Meet other writers and community members of all focuses, experience levels, and backgrounds.
Join us for writing exercises, book sales, goal discussions, after-hours socializing, and more.
