Kalamazoo Writing Circle

Empowering writers to do what they love.

About the Kalamazoo Writing Circle

The Kalamazoo Writing Circle (KWC) is a local writing group committed to improving the creative writing skills of local writers and promote writing in the Kalamazoo community.

Founded in the spring of 2023, our members are local memoirists, poets, playwrights, fiction writers, and everything in between. While writing can feel like solitary , we believe that community is one of the most powerful tools a writer can have.

The anthology includes:

  • 101 Short Stories
  • 2 Poems
  • 1 Play
  • Art from local, Kalamazoo artists
